ARTIST STATEMENT– I believe the making of art whether it be painted, thrown, carved, or voiced in music and poetry is how we as human beings mark our journeys through this life. I feel a sense of connectedness when I am in the process of creating something from within myself. I wonder if it will endure and if some great, great grandchild will find it in an attic one of these days and say, "Now who was this lady?" That makes me smile!
