ARTIST STATEMENT – I am very relaxed when I am painting. I enjoy it more than anything else. It's a little difficult to explain how I feel. For me, it's the best time of the day.



During my daily work as a farmer, I am able to think a lot throughout the day and I have many ideas for my paintings. Many of my ideas come from dreams, as well as, memories from my childhood as a boy in Mexico. I love farming, nature and plants. I enjoy painting farmers and plants. When I was a boy, my father taught me how to care for and respect plants. Now, plants, animals and the land are my inspirations for painting.
