ARTIST STATEMENT: Jan has been making photographic images seriously for over 20 years, starting with a Canon AE-1 and slide film and evolving into the digital age. She and husband Ken have just moved to the area from Pagosa Springs and are enjoying the photo ops in this beautiful country.  Jan has won numerous awards and hopes to get re-established now in New Mexico.  

Ken has been taking photographs for 50 years, having been drafted into taking pictures of his three children as they grew up.  After joining photographic partnership with wife Jan in 1987, he has become much more serious and has won several awards with his landscape and nature images.  He is the frame builder in his and Jan's custom framing business.
