Convivial Design Studio

The landscape here in Abiquiu is as varied as the cultures occupying adobe walls and high desert grounds. Focusing on digital imaging, still and moving, we combine snapshot and composite images into interactive experiences through photography and digital fimmaking

Convivial is currently (2008) focusing on original documetary films and massive digital archiving of analog to digital collections of films, videos, audio and photography.

From 2002-05 Convivial produced a documentary and a DVD of the e-Plaza Project, an alliance of farmers, NM agencies, non-profits, consumer/public interest groups and Northern New Mexico high school students participating in agricultural uses of the internet.

Discovering photographic and filmic moments propelled us to develop Digital Abiquiu, a Northern New Mexico web portal and in 2002, Visiting New Mexico Pueblos and Tribes, a digital video and photography CD-ROM for The New Mexico Department of Tourism.
