Born and raised in Belfort France in the Vosges
Mountains, I was a painter as a child, drawing inspiration from the blue line of the Vosges. While the landscape of New Mexcio is quite different, I feelat home and have lived here for 35 years.
My inspirations come from many places - photographs I've taken, or photographs that srike me from magazines. which are then translated into colors which are the focus of my work. Colors are my passion
I studied painting at IAIA in Santa Fe. Painting has always been part of my life, but always besides another profession: teaching french or building houses. AS of 2005 my house is almost finished and I will be able to devote more time to my paintings.
